Course Description

This course is a comprehensive practical compulsory course for the master's stage of artificial intelligence. It takes the Capstone Project or graduation design as the carrier, aiming to integrate the theoretical, algorithmic and engineering capabilities that students have acquired in this project. The course requires students to independently complete a full scientific research loop from problem definition, literature research, algorithm design and experimental verification to paper writing and result presentation, focusing on cutting-edge directions such as computer vision, natural language processing, multimodal learning or AI ethics governance. Emphasizing the unity of innovation and practicality, students are encouraged to connect with real pain points in the industry or open issues in the academic circle, implement prototype systems using frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow, and verify core hypotheses through rigorous ablation experiments. The course concludes with a thesis defense and system demonstration, comprehensively testing students' comprehensive qualities in solving complex AI problems and their independent research capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Make a curriculum plan according to the requirements of the university, prepare lesson plans carefully, teach flexibly, and accomplish teaching tasks and goals efficiently;

2. Submit teaching documents regularly according to university's requirements based on the teaching progress, including course notes, slides, classroom exercises, and homework;

3. According to the university’s exam regulations, submit exam papers on time and assist the university in completing invigilation, grading, timely complete student grade registration and feedback reports.
